Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the Areto website (areto.agency) or purchasing any Areto service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

Services

Areto provides Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) services for businesses, including audits, technical implementation, website builds, and ongoing optimization. Service descriptions and pricing are published on our website. Scope, deliverables, and timelines are as described on the relevant service page or as agreed upon during a scoping call.

Payments and refunds

All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is due at the time of purchase for one-time services. Monthly services are billed on a recurring basis until canceled.

Fixed-price services (such as Website Fix) are standalone. No credits or discounts are applied to other services unless stated in writing.

Due to the nature of digital services, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for completed work. If you are unsatisfied with a deliverable, contact us and we will work to resolve the issue.

The Work Guarantee

We guarantee the work. Not the machine. AI platforms make their own decisions based on signals they do not fully disclose and change without notice. Nobody controls that. What we guarantee is every deliverable we touch: schema markup, FAQ architecture, AI crawler configuration, metadata, and content implementation. If anything we built is incomplete or incorrect, we fix it at no charge. We also monitor your citations for 30 days post-implementation and flag any adjustments needed at no extra cost. This is a service guarantee, not a refund guarantee.

Client responsibilities

To deliver our services, we may require access to your website, hosting platform, or content management system. You are responsible for providing timely access, accurate business information, and approvals needed to complete the work. Delays caused by lack of client access or response may extend delivery timelines.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you own all deliverables created specifically for your business, including schema markup, content, and page structures implemented on your website. Areto retains the right to reference the engagement (without disclosing confidential details) in case studies, portfolio materials, and marketing content unless you request otherwise in writing.

Areto's proprietary methodologies, audit frameworks, tools, and processes remain the intellectual property of Areto.

Limitation of liability

Areto optimizes your digital presence for AI citation. We do not control how AI platforms generate responses, select sources, or rank content. We cannot guarantee specific placement, citation frequency, or business outcomes resulting from our services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Areto's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

No guarantees of AI behavior

AI platforms (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, and others) make independent decisions about what content to cite, recommend, or reference. These decisions are based on proprietary algorithms that change without notice. Areto implements best practices based on available research and testing, but no optimization can guarantee specific AI platform behavior.

Cancellation

Monthly services may be canceled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period. To cancel, email [email protected].

Use of website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, interfere with its operation, or use it to distribute harmful content.

Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites.

Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Sarasota County, Florida.
